We want our hospital services to be open and accessible, ensuring that we have the support available to meet individual patient needs. There are a number of support services available in Dawson City Community Hospital and our team can help you find the support within the community.
Our team can contact local elders or members of the clergy at patient or family request.
Our staff can also connect patients with a number of social support resources available in the Dawson City community, including social workers provided through Yukon government and counseling and family support through Many Rivers.
There are regular visits to Dawson City by the WGH's Therapy Services team, which provides occupational therapy and physiotherapy. Follow-up appointments in-between these visits may be arranged via Telehealth (secure video link). For regional therapy services (occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech language pathology services) contact Dawson City Home Care at 867-993-5029.
DCCH is a wheelchair accessible facility.
