X-ray (Radiography)

Located on main level

Dawson City Community Hospital performs a variety of routine, urgent and emergency X-ray imaging that supports your care providers by helping to diagnose and determine the best course of treatment. All images must be ordered by a physician.

The X-ray imaging service is located on the main level of the hospital and appointments can be made at the Admitting & Discharge desk Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most outpatient X-ray apppointments are scheduled between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. but individual circumstances may be accommodated. For emergency patients and inpatients, a combined lab/x-ray technologist is on-site from Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ultrasound, mammography, CT and MRI exams are referred to the medical imaging department at Whitehorse General Hospital.
