To keep everyone safe, screeners are in place at all public entrances to the hospital. You will be asked about your travel, symptoms and to perform hand hygiene. Additional visitor restrictions may be in place, so please check our COVID-19 information page before coming to hospital.

Staff Accommodation

Due to our northern location and our need to recruit qualified professionals and health care specialists from outside the territory, we provide some peace-of-mind by offering short-term accommodation to employees and others working in our hospitals.

Staff accommodation is requested and coordinated by the hiring manager or facility administrator, as required. There is a priority list for bookings.

How long can I stay in staff residence?

Every situation is unique and how long you are able to stay in a staff residence depends on your need and room availability. Typically, staff residence is meant as a short-term accommodation to assist new employees in their transition to life in Yukon or on temporary job assignments.
