To keep everyone safe, screeners are in place at all public entrances to the hospital. You will be asked about your travel, symptoms and to perform hand hygiene. Additional visitor restrictions may be in place, so please check our COVID-19 information page before coming to hospital.

X-ray (Radiography)

Located on upper level

WLCH performs a wide variety of routine, urgent and emergency x-ray imaging that support your caregivers by helping to diagnose and determine the best course of treatment. All images must be ordered by a physician.

The x-ray imaging service is located on the main level of the hospital and is open Monday - Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon for outpatient bookings. Register at the Admitting & Discharge reception desk. For inpatients, a combined lab/x-ray technologist is on-site from Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ultrasound, mammography, CT and MRI exams are referred to the medical imaging department at Whitehorse General Hospital.
