The Medical Imaging department at Whitehorse General Hospital provides screening and diagnostic imaging services on an inpatient and outpatient basis to Yukon, northern British Columbia and parts of Alaska. The Medical Imaging department is completely digital and all images are transmitted and stored in our secure Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS). The dedicated staff aim to provide safe, efficient, high-quality imaging services along with world-class care to each and every patient, in a comfortable and caring environment.
Please note: Patients must present either their health care card or a piece of valid government-issued identification to have their medical imaging work done.
For the protection of patients and staff during COVID-19, visitor access is restricted at all of Yukon’s hospitals. At this time and at the recommendation of Yukon's Chief Medical Officer of Health, patients may not bring a support person to any outpatient appointment.
