Physiatrists are medical doctors who have broad training in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Through a holistic lens, the physiatrist asseses and manages each patient within their own life context. Using a team-oriented approach, they assist patients with chronic neuro-muscular orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as focus on improved function and every-day quality of life.
